
The kitchen spills out to the exterior as well, creating airy and seamless living.


The private courtyard flows to the entry, and minimal facade featuring black and white color pallete.

The living and kitchen space flows out to the courtyard thanks to 15' of french doors, making the space feel much larger.

Above, two operable skylights were added to the living space to let the light and air in. LED track lights were recessed into the beams. Gazebo fan gives an outdoor feel and allows unique mounting.

A Bosch range was selected to not sacrifice on ability to create great meals. Overhead, an under cabinet hood by Kobe was recessed into the cabinets to minimize obtrusion. Cabinets by Ikea.

Custom stainless steel counters and backsplash make the compact kitchen ready for work.


The doors to the bath and bedrooms were custom built out of cedar and sealed clear. The bedroom door is 5-feet wide and 8-feet hight, mounted with barn door hardware. When open, the space feels huge like a hotel suite.

In the bath, a deck feature lends a spa-like feel. An operable skylight and white colors make the bathroom clean.

In the bedroom, the open feel continues as do the lighting fixtures and fans seen elsewhere. To maximize storage, the closet features an 8-foot high opening.

Black grout on the white tile gives a decidedly Scandinavian feel.
